This is a tired theme and has been done before.

Saw the copied original post.

If you really want to make a point, take the number of upset losses against the number of times the team was favored...and vice versa.

If a team is favored in 30 games and gets upset twice as a point spread favorite...they would be 0-2 in in the above calculation...but really a more representative 28-2 as a favorite, while maybe going 1-4 as a dog.

Do that...and you have numbers to work with...which will certainly show that in this past season Memphis lost a few too many as the favorite.

Otherwise, the above raw numbers are worthless.

U make a good point but our coach still sucks and loses homegrown studs like Tarik and King

Unacceptable

Too many lost players in such a short period

I get the notion of blaming the kids if they are knuckleheads but it's the HC who recruits. He should be smart enough to know who might quit on him

Maybe high school studs but in college Tarik was good for about 18 mins a game before foul trouble would have him on the bench. Not a stud at Memphis or Kansas - an occasional good game at both. King certainly didn't show "stud" while at Memphis, can't defend the 3 position, can't move to his right, outside shot iffy. Showed to be a role D-1 player, much like Tarik, but stud not even close.

Tarik is playing in the NBA now. He never really developed in Memphis and it took a year at Kansas to improve his game to NBA level. Joe Jackson is also developing nicely in the D-leage now and should get an NBA shot next year.

Pastner is not developing talent and his bad reputation is showing up in the recruiting. He has basically been shut out for the past 2 years among Memphis big time recruits not named Lawson ............I guess he can't offer jobs to every parent.
