The old BE is the AAC so actually every BE title ever goes to AAC. the current BE is a new conf. Cuse title is a AAC title.

"Technically" the old Big East is the American. Problem is, the casual fan considers the current Big East as the real Big East going forward. There is a lot of power in a name. Its obviously to late now but you guys shouldn't have given in so easy on the naming rights of the league. Losing the name "Big East" was the biggest blow that could have happened.

The only entity I see considering the New BE an extension of the old is FS1. The only fans who consider it one in the same are New BE fans. To compare the New BE to the Old BE is doing a disservice to the New BE. They are a shell of their former conference mates.
