NCAA grants Temple's leading sacker extra year of eligibility
Praise Martin-Oguike was expelled from Temple after being arrested on charges of rape and false imprisonment. All charges were dropped based on insufficient evidence, and he was reinstated by the school and team. Martin-Oguike lead Temple with 7.5 sacks last year.

I think "insufficient evidence" is an understatement. There was evidence of a false accusation motivated by spite, and that Praise was the victim.

Great for Temple that he'll be on the field for a few more years. Not good for AAC quarterbacks! I already here the bones crunching.

This is important and far different than the police not being able to find the murder weapon or a witness suddenly recanting their story in a weird way.
