He's since gone 11-21, then 15-17 and is now 22-14 and still playing in late March.

He may be moving on to bigger and better things fairly soon.

Also, wasn't it funny when we thought that he may be the reason for some of the discord on the team back in 2011? Now we know better.

I bet the jacks play good defense. Isn't that where Dominic Magee ended up?

He was also the one guy Josh truly trusted. He was and still is a big loss for Josh

So it sounds like you are saying that Pastner does a good job of grooming future head coaches.

It will be great if Murphy can parlay his early modest success into a bigger program and make a run where he makes a bunch of NCAAs...

They actually beat Kent State last night, not Akron. And they got lucky as hell. KSU was ahead by 5 with 30 seconds left in OT and we choked. That said, they are still alive.

I always thought Murphy was the key to our success. We need another assistant just like him next season.

Murphy's last year here we were in the top 25 on kenpom in both offensive and defensive ratings.

UT Martin is also in the CIT Semis with all 3 wins on the road.Skyhawks are at Evansville next Tuesday.NAU gets the winner of Canisius-NJIT.Both games will be shown on CBS Sports Network.

Jack Murphy can flat out coach just like Bobby Hurley....Like the man or not, but Jack Murphy is a hell of a coach.....2 guys Josh needs to really try and go get for the NEW Assistant spot is Chad Iske, who is just as highly regarded as Jack Murphy was for George Karl, and doing a heck of a job on the sixers staff or Stacey Augmon if he could get him of his Unlv who was also on the George Karl staff.....He should also look at Randy Livingston who was Head coach at Idaho in the D-league..Randy is The founder of LivOn basketball which is a Nike Basketball Camp in New Orleans which he runs....He has been a successful NBA player, D-league development coach and HC coach in teh D-league at Idaho....Been a scout and now coaching director.....I think Josh should go get Randy Livingston from LivOn Basketball and let him help him with coaching, and Development and Randy has seen it all and been there, and would make one hell of a assitant....The World Is Ours Memphis....
