RE: Josh is a PG away from saving his rear...
We had a pg for 4 years straight. What did he do with him?

He had way more talent in that 4year stretch than he does now and all we need on this team is a pg?

There's more to the story. It may translate to more wins and maybe a tourney birth, but will a pg produce a better result in our overall finish? Unfortunately I don't think so.

And at this stage in recruiting he should have already signed one.

There aren't any program saving point guards out there.

Don't need a Derrick Rose, just a solid, quick and PURE PG.

From where?

The question that no one will answer.

In all fairness, someone is getting paid 2.65 to answer that question.

I don't care if he's getting $2. This stage in the game, where is he going to get a solid, sure thing PG?

I don't know what happened (if anything) behind the scenes, but on the surface, the end result is stinks in every way imaginable.

If we had any really good PGs on the line, we wouldn't know about it.
We be keeping it kind of quiet.

Despite what most think (and what my eyes often tell me) Pastner's teams here have actually been pretty solid on D, by the numbers...haven't they? Maybe I misread some stats once...

That's capable of contributing, in a BIG way, to 8 -10 more wins next year? Really?

I'll hang up and listen...

I guess my thoughts are surely we can do better than what we have. KJ is so slow it changes the entire dynamic in our usual style of play on both ends. I think he maybe could help us with minutes at the 2, but him at PG is just killing us. I know some disagree, jmho.

RE: Josh is a PG away from saving his rear...
One season of overall sub par guard play- after several where it was really good.

Hardly destroyed, simply endured one season where especially early, the guard play struggled, and as it improved, unfortunately an already not great team lost its best player and finished eve outside the NIT.

Very likely that the guard play will be immensely improved out of the box next year...and team will see 5-7 game minimum win increase after 32 games.

But the conclusions, bullying (they love that even as they do it with it) and even more tired than before paff sent the coach's way cannot be stopped.

We had a pg for 4 years straight. What did he do with him?

We went to four straight NCAA tournaments. We had two more tournament appearances and one more tournament win than the 4 years that Elliot Perry was here.
