AState's Zach George has now been on base in every game he's played since May of 2012 (Nearly 3 years ago). I'm sure since I mentioned it, he'll fail to get on tomorrow, but it's an impressive streak nonetheless.

Georgia State beats UTA in Arlington 5-2, Nathan Bates moves to 3-0 on the season. GSU is 4-2 in conference.

I thought that was a bit odd too. Pulled him after 4.1 innings. He was in some trouble in the 5th but he wasn't given a chance to work out of it. He cruised through 4. I think he had only given up 4 hits when he was pulled. That kid is skinny as hell by the way. Listed at 6'2" 160.

For the 23rd time since the first game of 2014, App State loses a game in which they either lead or were tied after 6 innings. Apps give up a run in the bottom of the 9th and lose 2-1 to UALR yesterday.

AState trying to give the Cajuns this one. Made 3 outs on the bases in the first 3 innings.

Technically AState and the Cajuns are tied at 2 in the 3rd, but our #2 starter got hurt and is out of the game, and we don't have the bullpen to win this.

We'd have a hell of a team if games only went seven innings.

Our pitching depth is killing us today. Closer is unavailable after throwing 3 innings yesterday. 2nd best reliever is being held till the 9th because we have to have someone to pitch tomorrow, and our starter gets hurt and goes out in the 3rd inning

I don't think we can find a way to blow this one, but who knows.

Cajuns freaking tried to give us the game. We had 12 plus guys reach via walk or hit by pitch. Leave a gazillion runners on base. Our back end of the bullpen can't throw a single 1-2-3 inning. Can't throw strikes. We lose 9-6

I am absolutely disgusted with that effort. Here we are, in a must win series if we want to make the SBC tourney...and the Cajuns try to give us the freaking game, and we refuse to take it.

And someone tell Raffo to quit acting satisfied. This was an awful game, not a great college game by any stretch of the imagination.
