Where would they rank among the greatest teams of all time?

40-0 would be comparable to the undefeated UCLA teams with Alcindor, IMHO. Also the Indiana teams of '74-'76.

What UK did to WVU last night was downright scary. I don't believe there is any -- Any -- other college team that could've withstood an onslaught like that. WVU just happened to be the other team on the court when the storm hit.

Even Hampton gave UK a better game, they were within range at the 10:00 mark of the first half. WV was out after two minutes.

WVU pissed off UK before the game with their trash talk. When UK is determined to crush a team like that there is no college team that can stand in their way.

and to think I thought this was going to be a thread started by a Cincy fan saying they gave Kentucky their toughest game of the entire tournament. Which is very possibly true btw.

I really don't think so. I think some of Arizona's strengths get totally taken away by Kentucky. Look at what Xavier's bigs did for most of the game against Arizona. Kentucky would beat them easily I think.

The Badgers possibly. The play a style that is so disciplined and make their FTs. Still it would have to be a perfect game by Wisc and KY would need to make some mistakes. Still I remember with no one gave NCSU a chance against Houston, and Villanova's run in the mid 80's. Ky will have to help in their defeat.

And Virginia in '83, UNLV in '91, Duke in '99, Illinois '05, UMass in '96 (granted, UK was about as good), Kentucky in '03, Kentucky in '10, etc... this is not the first really great college basketball team and the reality is that it's a best of 1, so all it takes is an off game and a really good game by someone else.

This team is the best college Bball squad I have ever seen. That being said the one and done nonsense takes away some of the glory for me. It feels like hired guns.

Wisconsin is the only team with a chance.

The Bearcats did alright for a young team, but UK had just too much talent. It was, however, a great learning experience.

UK has 3 tough games ahead: ND, Wisconsin or AZ and, most likely, Duke. They'll all test UK and should all be great games.

My fear is that a 40-0 UK will validate the one-and-done mindset in college coaches - to the detriment of the athletes.

AZ shot too many jump shots. AZ played into Egg's hands. If they went after Stainbrook early, he would have been in foul trouble and a nonfactor.

Last night reminded me of the Memphis vs. Michigan State beatdown in the 2008 Sweet Sixteen.

Arizona looked terrible last night. They ain't beating anybody else this year.
