Who do you think can beat them?
1. Wisconsin - They don't make hardly any mistakes so that's very possible
2. Arizona - They like up temp UK's hands so no
3. Duke - They'd get run off the floor, only go 8 deep and that's being generous
4. Cal - Agreed - See Memphis vs Mizzou 2009
I'm not seeing it, frankly I want to see an undefeated team, would only be the second time ever in my lifetime and I was only 4 last time it happened.

And I'm talking about all those years where there was an "unbeatable" team.

It is a great team, but not amongst the greatest IMO. They're the beneficiary of a different mentality at the top of college basketball than there used to be.
If one and done wasn't the thing to do, this team wouldn't be together.

The game at Florida wasn't such a good game for Kentucky. Other then late free throws to ice the game and shooting an amazing 21 for 21 for 95% from the free throw line, they were outplayed for the game.
The very next game saw them survive an LSU scare as well, winning by two points.
Even the rematch against Florida saw Kentucky struggle in the first half. The first half struggles and less then great offensive half court play could see them getting knocked off.
One team still left in the tournament that played Kentucky is Louisville. Louisville forced 18 Kentucky turnovers that game. This another potential vulnerability for Kentucky.

Not sure any of those teams were ever considered unbeatable
UVA 83, UNLV 91, Duke 99 were "unbeatable" on the verge on iconic teams if they won. Do not think the same of the bolded teams if they had won.
05 If Illinois was considered unbeatable they would not have been 7.5 point dogs in the title game.

They have to be #1.
I don't think they're even close to #1, I think college basketball is down this year.
1981-82 North Carolina won a national title with Michael Jordan, James Worthy, and Sam Perkins
they won the national final against Georgetown with Patrick Ewing and Sleepy Floyd
they won the final four against Houston with Clyde Drexler, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Michael Young
I think UK has some great players, but I'll be surprised if they turn out a NBA duo as good as any of those three 82 final four teams

I agree - think Louisville would be their toughest matchup. Most of UK's rematches have been at least a little closer than the first game, and Louisville has National Title winning experience, of course Louisville is an underdog to just get there.

That UNC team was highly talented but they were a couple of close calls away from not being champions (yeah, yeah, yeah, coulda, shoulda, woulda). A raw Phi Slama Jama team nearly got 'em in the semis and they barely survived Georgetown.

No, the real questions are:
1. How poor UK's APR scores will be as the entire team and Calipari head into the NBA?
2. How quickly the NCAA comes in to review the recruiting of the talent. I.E. to see if everyone took their own ACT's?

is it wierd that im getting a feeling they are about to get what happened to phi slamma jamma
a team considered one of the greatest in history and supposedly unbeatable strolls into the championship, to lose in some crazy heartbreaking fashion making history for the other team...

Sure some years are stronger than others, but it's a watered down product. It's the reason you can have Wichita Sts, Butlers, George Masons, and VCUs make the final 4.
Don't get me wrong, I like it this way but it actually gives the ECUs of the world an opportunity to breakthrough. We just haven't done jack#### with it.

It happens when the best players are one and done or not playing at all. Imagine Kobe at UNC or LeBron at Ohio State.

Like I said before, there are a long list of teams that have seemed unbeatable that have fallen in this tournament.

Look at UNC in 1994, they were they returned 4 starters and were defending national champions and had Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, and Jeff Mcinnis off the bench.
