Tennessee is on such thin ice, we know they'd sacrifice anyone without a second thought, and it seems they have. USM certainly has no incentive to protect him at this point, and everyone who may have had a hand in it has already been run out of the athletic department.

I'd bet Tyndall's been tossed so far under the bus by both schools at this point, he may as well change the transmission fluid while he's there.

A couple of issues...

First, former Tyndall assistant Jareem Dowling is currently on Sadler's staff. He was hired by Sadler after Tyndall was going to give him a lesser role in Knoxville. Dowling was said to have been the main reason that Rasham Suarez signed with Southern Miss (before he was removed from the team midseason). Has Dowling been cleared of any wrongdoing? I think if he was guilty that he would have left at the same time the other assistant coaches at TN left early in the basketball season.

Second, am I understanding correctly that Tyndall deleted emails on his Southern Miss account in Nov 2014? Why in the world did Tyndall still have access to his email account at Southern Miss?

Dowling could be a sticking point, but if he's in any way implicated, you can bet he'll be packing his stuff and getting TFO.

The e-mails in question would've had to have been sent to Tyndall at Tennessee. SCRATCH THAT. I just read the official termination letter. They were, in fact, emails to him at USM. I don't see where the address being active would be of any concern, though. It happens all the time when people change jobs. If anything, it makes Tyndall look like that much more of a sleaze and draws some stink away from USM.

And Jareem Dowling has now left the building. He resignation was announced quietly over the weekend.

I think its safe bet that everyone on that staff gets at lease one years suspension from the ncaa. I did see where Justin Phillips the operations guy was cleared.

What are y'all figuring?

No postseason play for two years and the loss of 3 rides?

I would be happy with that. We played this past year with 7 or 8 scholarship players (which it showed) so I would like to think 3 rides wouldn't be a killer but it would mean those who are coming here would be ones who could play right away and not ones needing a redshirt year or 2. Also, I am hoping that this past year, even though no post season would've happened, will count towards one of the years of no postseason handed down. I just hope there's no mention of returning $$$ or forfeiting upcoming basketball $$$ as everyone knows we need every bit of money we can get.

until the official summary is released, I'm not going to speculate about the sentence regarding the university....

however, I'm all in with dahbeed's, 'tub o' goo' and andre's 'land o' lakes' references.....

I hope that sob ends up coaching hs girls, he attempts the 'snake' charm, they gang tackle and beat his arse....it all ends with a 'point o' jail term'

what pof he is....

I'm not a basketball fan by any means, but this sucks.. meaning USM getting hit with penalties.
