Watching Arizona vs Xavier
UTEP played both of these teams. They beat Xavier on a neutral floor and nearly beat Arizona. It's amazing when you consider the fine line that separates sweet 16 teams from the top Cusa teams.

Even we gave WVU everything they wanted out of us. But Kentucky just wiped the floor with them 78-39. Doubled their score, lol.

And if we could win these games, we wouldn't have to worry about only having one in the tournament.

It's true. We have the talent, we just need to shake that mentality that we can't compete with these teams and start winning more of them.

Tech led at NC State the entire game until 4:26 to go...lost by 8...we had a 50-32 lead at one point.

Yeah that was tough to watch.

Good teams find a way to win on the road and that huge advantage is for the most part eliminated in the NCAA Tournament. I think that is what really separates good teams from mediocre teams in college basketball. btw Tech had the best conference road record

That's awesome. Sad thing is if the res of the team had bought into his attitude they might not have looked shellshocked the whole first half. Doubt they would have won but they might have made a game of it.
