Doubt thats included in the figures above. We may have jumped USA.

Edit: Nevermind if their game last night isn't included either. Big crowd for the Alabama game.

"Dream On, Li'l Broomstick Cowboy". The Jags beat Alabama 3-0 in front of 3,047 paid attendance.

The race for second place.

Ha. I do wish Bobcat Ballpark had a few more seats. We turned quite a few people away at the gates last night. Although I took great pleasure in watching entitled UT fans get upset about it. Literally heard one guy tell the lady at the ticket booth "well what are you going to do about it?? You have to do something!!!"

haha. quite a few years ago, UGA got curb stomped in Statesboro. Their coach, afterward got pissed and spouted off about how it was pointless for them to come play us in Statesboro. They didn't play us for quite a few years after that. Then they started to come back, and we still own them in baseball.

I hope this 2 for 1 agreement stays in place. I really think the UT folks enjoy the game in San Marcos.
They don't get to travel often to such a close opponent.
I think they like the relative intimacy compared to their minor league-ish park.
We are apparently an easy road W for them.

Ours are about to open up. Softball's just did. Surprised y'all don't have one yet. Texas State always seems a step ahead of us in the facilities arms race.

They said when the new facilities were built in 2009 that the players voted to keep the locker rooms in the athletic admin building because the walk to the stadium was a tradition they wanted to keep. Not sure I fully buy that.

Anyway, last year Harrington said they are working to raise $8 million and once they do they plan to build the facility on-site.

We are way behind you in the basketball facilities arms race...

You guys have jealous worthy attendance numbers. The good thing about SBC baseball, we are good enough to warrant home games from any school, we are that good and an RPI help for most teams, not a henderance like basketball.

Basketball was it. And that was just a few years ago. Strahan was always superior to Texas Hall.

We have really put a lot into the baseball stadium the last decade and a half, but every upgrade until the clubhouse was to something y'all already had.

We just completed a mammoth reconstruction of our softball complex. I think most everything brings Allan Saxe Stadium closer to Bobcat Softball Stadium, but the ladies also have a clubhouse and indoor facility, so we beat you for the first time in that sport as well, but only in that aspect.

Your football Stadium surpasses ours too...

According to the box score for last night's game we had 4100 for a midweek game against Nicholls friggin St. Forecast is looking good for the weekend so I'm expecting great attendance numbers for the stAte series. Only other major event going on around the complex is our spring game, which will be Saturday at 5, after baseball, which is at 2.

Sun Belt Average: 1,078

I understand why ASU has only had 4 home games... But why have the Cajuns only played 7 home games?

we are the home team in games at globe life. the 4123 at that ut-austin game would not fit in our ballpark. I think the Gould holds 1600. we have played a-m and tcu over there too. those games attract pretty large crowds and are a pretty neat experience for the players and fans.

Then if I'm not mistaken, since that park is in your city and if the game is included in your season ticket package, then it counts towards your home game attendance. So UTA's attendance average would in fact be 775 and the SBC average would jump to 1,116.

Yeah I wasn't fully buying the number. I passed by there on my way home from work at 6 and there weren't nearly enough cars in the parking lot to make me believe that there were 4100 butts in the seats.

I wonder why baseball seems to count paid attendance, but football seems to count butts in seats as evidenced by the folks at the gates of Cajun Field with clickers in hand.

It was announced a little into baseball season we will now announce paid not actual, like everyone else does. It was a good crowd but not 4100.
