RE: Regardless of what happens with ULL and ULM...
Both our hoops programs were unique dumpster fires going into this season with first-time head coaches. We'll be better next year.

Let that sink in for a while, and remember it the next time you think the SBC is an OK league.
The SBC is not a serious athletic conference.
Lets be clear here...if the SBC isnt a serious athletic conference, neither is the MAC. They just have better basketball because they are in an area of the country where basketball is valued more.
Oh, and we got more NCAA Units than the MAC did this year.
And the SBC is lightyear's ahead of the MAC in baseball and softball.
Really ...a light year? Kent State did make the College World Series in '12. Total respect for the Sun Belt but don't remember seeing them there recently...were they?
I said lightyears, plural.
Kent State was part of a one-bid league and was a third seed, meaning at least 32 teams were seeded higher. MAC ever hosted a regional?
Meanwhile, the SBC consistently gets multiple teams in and as evidenced by the Cajuns last year, host regionals on occasion, meaning they are in the top 16.
