Is it just me, or has dialog on the Spin board improved without the provocation of Mach, Memphis, Firm, et al?

Sure, there are fewer posts, but a bunch of flamers got a vacation.

It does get tiring when I say something like there are more conservatives than liberals in Texas and I'm asked to provide a source for that.

I'd say the absence of Okla/LSU at the same time is the biggest factor.

I think it has improved.

LSU was a big loss though. A lot of the liberals also liked him and he was a standup guy.

Unlike some of the other conservatives he was open and engaging.

Like I said, big loss.

I think the board really $ucks without the obnoxious pinhead posters. It's not much fun when there is no "conflict."

I've noticed that some of the banned visit the board. Mach's on a lot and frankly I miss him even though I rarely (if ever) agree with him.

And some of the cons here are a bit to taken with themselves. They need some counter point.

Besides, there is a place where cons can go where even the Bene Gesserit fear to look.

Board is dead without me and the other banned driving the discourse. Think we can lay another fib to rest, that we keep people from posting here.

Prediction... 4/4 or whatever date we are "officially" permitted expression*, the board will spring back to life and those who claim they want a polite society will be back too. Also predict nothing will change and the board will continue to suffer self induced periods of slow traffic due to stifling the back and forth with more idiotic vacations.

If you have no desire to engage me, don't. Isn't rocket science.
