Personally, I think Tulsa has a shot at being a huge let down next season unless we go out and grab one tremendous big in the spring. Our team beat a lot of teams that were down this year and we won't have that luxury next year. Our guys are going to all have to make big jumps in their senior season for us to have a good chance at a championship.

tulsa returns too much for me to think they will "let down"...you dont just stop being good when basically nothing changed in a 9 month period

but tulsa actually losses alot of players next year, ill be honest im worried about tulsa from 2016 beyond...tulsa cant recruit and is a bottom 3 recruiting team in this league...

i really question if tulsa can sustain its success...your top 7 scorers graduate after next season..

everyone can find a gem now and them, but making a living off of hoping the turn out great is how to have a tourney team once every 10 years ....

tulsa was a regular tourney team 10 years ago so there is a way to make it work but i just dont know, that was in the WAC/MVC where you don't need great recruiting classes to be successful ....

I think it's entirely possible ECU is a lot better next year but doesn't finish any better in the league standings. Hopefully we just aren't a dumpster fire OOC so we can be of some use win or lose in league play.

Good or bad someone has to finish last... Which means, finishing last in this league won't mean that program is actually bad.

Hmmm I can understand your apprehension. We should get a good idea of how the 2016 recruiting class will shape up as the summer AAU cycle plays out.

We already have a very good PG (4 star Dashawn McDowell) committed for 2016. Also, Haith has said he's going to go after JUCO's / Transfers to even out our class sizes, so all of our incoming players won't be inexperienced. I think the 2016 class has a ton of potential if we play our cards right.

Tulsa has 3 of the most experienced assistant coaches in the NCAA. That should help when we try to get some good talent in the future.

10. Tulane
11. USF

Overall I expect the league to much better. Anywhere between three and five NCAA tournament bids should be expected; however, the seeds should be much higher. Bottom of the league needs to win non-conference games.

ECU should finish in the middle of the conference next year. If they don't then that means there were either injuries or transfers or both. In any event UCF will not finish ahead of ECU. To early on Memphis too, but they will have the horses to win the conference, but the coaching needs to improve.

Temple is always impossible to rank just because on paper we never look as good as other teams but Dunph is so good at what he does. We always seem to lose our best player and people think we will take a step back only to see someone come from nowhere and take the reigns as a leader. Only exception of course was last year but for the most part Temple always seems to have a lot of question marks going into seasons and always seems to get the most of what they have.

ECU should be improved next year. We don't lose any impact players. Marshall Guilmette really came on at the end of the season, and could be in the running for "Most Improved" next season. Could be a breakout year for the big guy. Also, it looks as if we are close to getting some "unexpected" help down low from a highly touted, yet-to-be announced 2015 big. Could turn some heads.

Unfortunately Tulsa must lose some players to open up some recruiting slots. We desperately need need inside post players and about 1 or 2 guards who can actually shoot the ball to get the balance we need. Otherwise we won't be anymore advanced next year than we were this year. The coaches know this better than anyone.

Hopefully Uconn can get it together. If they miss the tournament next year it will be 3 out of the last 4. That would not be a good look for a blue blood.

To be fair, the other time they missed the tournament, it was because of a post-season ban -- a result of not meeting graduation standards. They had a solid RPI and a lot of top 50 wins if I recall -- would have been a near lock for the dance if they had been eligible.

As for Tulane, things on paper look definitely like next year will be an improvement.
-We were very young and our Fresh/Soph bigs will be very improved
-We return most of our roster
-We add former 4-star LSU transfer Morgan
-We get back promising 6'7" wingman Reynolds from a broken hand
-The new recruits are not the caliber of the top of the league but are what we need, interior bigs who can clog up the middle on D and add rebounds.

Though I do not believe Ed Conroy is the man to fix this mess, this will definitely be his most talented team.

The whole league looks like it will be improved drastically. That is why this year made sense, teams were young and many breaking in new coaches + getting adjusted to AAC life/recruiting.

Dude you got lucky at the last two with a worn out team and the first one was ot. Softball swept your softball team. You outlasted us with all frosh and sophomores and a short bench. We go from 7 (Matt Williams was out with injuries) to 11 available players one of the top juco transfers and a p5 junior who sat out a year. You may finish higher but it won't happen again.

Outlasted, and lucky. Lol we beat you on the road, and were beating you by 20 in Hartford. Most teams play 7-8 guys anyway, UCF has always got big names in basketball and it hasn't translated to anymore success than ECU

But you swept our softball team with a interim coach Go Knights!
