The left and libertarian view of pornography plays a huge role in that problem. But this is like saying the way to fix a crack problem is to make people drunks.

If that professor was teaching that smut to my kids I'd kick his behind. There is never any reason to show kids smut and those that say it's alright are sick.

Could not agree me... The problem is when you send them to school (presumably so they can learn to read and write) they spend 8 hours a day with people who will (1) tell them differently and (2) play into the normal adolescent mode of rebellion against parents.

Usually a teen spends more time with teachers than parents.

All the boys are going to grow up worrying about their inadequacies and all the girls will grow up with unachievable expectations.

The issue might be though that if a guy has the right sexual cred, that he can get a girl to behave like a porn star sexually while most men are lucky to get any sex, let alone missionary.

I honestly don't know. I do not like talking about it. It isn't my business and I was brought up that all of that should be private. I find it degrading that a person would ever think to tell me certain things.

The sorts of things that have been passed on though are beyond anything I would have imagined or ever thought of doing to another human being. The girls at that age today seem to think that is just how things are.

Part of me thinks that it is over stimulation in all things in their lives. They need to go nuts in some way in order for the whole experience to be more real to them. They can get gratification from online porn that is more visceral.

It is messed up and it will cause problems.

In my personal opinion, I think it already has. Every girl that I dated throughout college had been raped or sexually assaulted in some way. That's a problem.

My questions were meant to be hypothetical. I'm like you, it's not conversation that one typically has unless amongst close friends. I honestly don't know. When I read A Billion Wicked Thoughts and I was stunned by what passes for 'normal' these days.
