Good times ahead.

I like it....if you have Austin and the Lawsons on the floor at the same time, I'm not sure how you are not good? Just give us 2 other guys that won't turn it over and will not try to get "theirs" and we'll be really good. Role players needed....

Bless your heart

Trying to add some optimism to this depressing ass board. Tigers should be competitive and fun to watch next year...

Not if Kedren Johnson and Avery Woodson are our starting backcourt.

I heard we are gonna roll with Pookie. LOL

Why? Saban makes Tide basketball take buses to their games.

Agree. lol. Unless he's just curious or naive.

3 or 4 years of guaranteed head coaching and the pay that comes with it makes it a lot more attractive. I am sure it would not be first on his list, but I would be surprised if passed on an offer from them. He would be given at least two years free pass to build his squad before there was any expectation of success.

I think it would be awfully hard to walk away from Nichols, Shaq and the Lawsons...that's a lot of high level DI talent on the front line.

There would be a lot of variables in play with any offer as to whether he stays or goes.

I'd be surprised if he isn't coaching Memphis next year.

i don't like reading statements like this.

Kedron should and will start, Avery should be a weapon off the bench. Markel should start at the 2 based on defense alone, and should play some pg as well. Run a zone to start, and go man when MC is at the 1. Avery should only play when he's shooting well and his height is not a factor. With Kedron, Markel, and Trahson, plus some shooting by Avery, our back court should not be a negative for next year's team.

First men to call: Marshall, Underwood @ SFA, Archie & Dayton. Get any of those 3 & you sign them to a 5 year deal.

I wouldn't say it was a mistake when we hired him. By all accounts, he was projected to be a great coach. But NOW we realize it was a mistake that needs to be rectified.

What "accounts" projected him as a great coach? Cal had him on staff as a recruiter, not a coach. There was no history of coaching for anyone to form such an opinion. Lot's of people liked him and "hope" he becomes a great coach, but there is no evidence to suggest that will be the case, nor was there in 2009.

Because his dad wrote a letter for him stating that he was going to be a coach when he was 5

Funny... Doesn't seem talent has ever helped his ability to coach.

You are putting your limited basketball knowledge out there for all to see... just sayin'. Kedren isn't the answer bro., he should just go do his music, or whatever that stuff is.

I like to see him make it big in music, if, for no other reason than to see his name spelled out in blinking lights.
