SBC game of the week would probably be Texas State @ USA. but there is a lot of interesting games this weekend such as Ark state vs GS.

Ark state is coming off series losses to UTA and GSU. and GS is coming off a Series loss to Troy...Almost a must win series for Ark State

Its really hard to tell who the top programs are this year, unlike last year when the clear top team was ULL.

Btw my birthday is 3/21 so TROY better not let me down on my day

I'm looking forward to this weekend series. USA has a very good squad. We've gotten off to a rocky start. If we could take this series (on the road), I think it bodes well for us moving forward . . . .

Only one team seems to be clear on where they stand.....
App State 0-6 and 5-14 over all

everyone else is still wide open.

Curious to see where the Bobcats stand after this weekend. They are 5-1 and winning the league, but there will be legit questions of whether that is a product of opening with two of the projected bottom teams.

We need to go at least 2-1, which will be tough at their place. Ultimately, it'll come down to our pitching. If our starters can go long, good for us .. . If we're heavy on our pen, good for them (probably). . ..

Yeah, we realize this one. Give it about 3 more series....USA, GS then, wait we have a 3 gamer with Baylor in there. Ok then, after a few more series anyway.

Well that and they've played 4 fewer games than everyone else.

We can beat anyone, but we've got to start getting the bats going a bit to do it. We don't have the pitching staff to win a ton of 3-2 games.

This is the point of the season where Rodney usually eliminates us from regular season championship race.

uta has texas coming in to play today. the game has been moved up to 6:00 because of rain predicted to move in. then dallas baptist is in tomorrow, weather permitting.
