Aw, couldn't have happened to a better guy. The downside is that his next job will surely pay less, meaning there's less wages for KSU to garnish.

Shouldn't be an issue: he's getting a $1.4M buyout as they had inexplicably extended his contract. Nice work, Bradley AD!

What a disaster that hire was for Bradley. Lose a lawsuit. Lose games. Fire the guy. Still have to pay him. Watch as Evansville rises above them in MVC standings... Never understood the quick hook on Jim Les, a Bradley guy who is having some success at UC Davis and recruited Bradley legend Hersey Hawkins' kid to go play there.

They already have. 2014-15 MVC standings: Evansville 9-9, Bradley 3-15.

Ben Howland to Miss. St., ESPN reports. It was rumored the DePaul job was his for the taking if he had wanted it.

sender out

depaul job is a career killer. only success they ever had was w ray meyer, a lifer coach who built the program and recruited local kids. downhill ever since. chicago is a pro sports town. depaul is a small school with an alumni spread all around and beyond a huge metropolitan area. the team plays in a suburban aircraft hanger an hour from campus. they are moving into a new building in the city (also not near campus) in a few years, but not a place any smart coach would go.
