Need to include SOS. That is where UCLA had an advantage.

UCLA 29
Temple 60

RE: MAJOR SCREW JOB
i disagree

texas and ucla played in a big boy conf...they should have and did get the benefit of the doubt. They didnt play half of their conf games against rpi 200+ teams...like temple and tulsa did

the bottom flukin line is espn created the word power 5 and this is hurting our conference, aresco and the other group of five need to get the word power replaced with FBS playing schools......................

THE POWER 5 IS A NEW FLUCKING WORD TO REPLACE THE WORD BCS................03-banghead

RE: MAJOR SCREW JOB
What hurt Temple was their record versus the top 200 was only 9-8; however, UCLA was just as bad at 13-13. The Bruins did have better Kenpom and Sagarin ratings.

In a lot of ways Colorado State, Old Dominion, Tulsa, Miami, and Richmond were just as worthy for one of the final at-large bids. I don't look at it as a power five bias but rather a committee that took care of the teams the represented. My biggest shock was that Colorado State was on the outside looking because I believed that Utah State's AD would have fought hard for a fourth Mountain West team. Also, C-USA associate commissioner couldn't get Old Dominion in which would have happened if the Monarchs didn't blow it in the conference tournament.

If the American wants to get more respect on Selection Sunday then the bottom of the league has to get better. This league has to become stable and work its way through the structure of the NCAA. Until both of these things happen the American is going to be represented well in the NCAA tournament.

True...a big boy conference...something your Bearcats will never be a part of. No one wants the bastard stepkids of the Ohio/Kentucky/West Virginia triple-threat of meth-head lottery winners.

I've no explanation. Really think Temple and Colorado State had a far better claim than UCLA.

RE: MAJOR SCREW JOB
I just looked at UCLA and realized that the committee gave them credit for beating a 3-15 in conference USC twice in the last month. Are you kidding me?!? The best part is, he said they showed the committee something with their run to close the season. They beat the bottom 3 teams in the conference. What the hell do you expect them to do against a group of teams that Temple or Cinci or Tulsa or even Memphis would whack. What a joke.
