Nationally??? This was a committee decision.

Nationwide our conference was just featured in a dramatic SMU-UCONN finish to the season. You can't buy that kind of PR.

One of our teams got shafted. I'm very pleased to see Bearcat fans so up in arms. However, it has nothing to do with any care for Temple and more just an excuse to rant your same old bull**** that you spew everyday.

Excuse me if I'm not moved by your words. You lost all credibility with your bull**** a long time ago. Now you're just pissing in the wind.

Exactly. It sucks because Temple should be in and probably Tulsa. However it's not the end of the world because one team didn't get in. In a normal year Memphis and Uconn would make it and we would have 4-5 teams each year.

UConn and Memphis were down this year, it happens. If they come back strong as I expect they will this conference will be fine despite all the naysayers on this board.

It's a 3-5 bid per year league which is still strong.

You sure you are not 13?

Anyways, believe what you want to. Get out from the ivory tower once in a while and when you travel, talk to people outside of the echo chamber. The AAC is generally viewed as a little brother around the country. And it probably should be. Half of the conference is in full on dumpster fire in each sport.

Why does it offend you so much that I support the conference?

Do you seriously think that you're helping Cinci's status by coming on here running down all of us?

That's essentially what you're doing. And, I'm 13???

You best look up at the title of this board. If you don't like the AAC, why are you here? Are you not getting any love in your personal life?

Before one rips the conference their team plays in they should consider that their team lost to FIVE teams and SIX times to teams that didn't make the tournament from said bad conference. Think about that.07-coffee3

I do not think any UC fan with half a brain is saying this team is really good. Its young and not overly talented and its coach is on the couch all season due to a serious health issue. It's good enough for this conference, though.

ThinK about this: UC lost 4 put of 5 starters and their coach this year and still are an 8 seed in the tournament. Where your team?

Who is complaining? Seriously. I just pointed out the status of this conference and why and you took it as a personal insult and started cussing at people. Relax.

You know what they say about opinions?

Nobody ever disputed that there was a bias against the AAC. However, to take that next step and call our programs a dumpster fire, when there is some damned good basketball being played in the AAC, is missing the mark.
