RE: CSNBBS Biggest Loser
So do we just agree to weigh in on a specific day and then email you our weight? Do we need to snap a photo? Honor system? Are our weights going to be published?

I might be in depending on your answers.

I log my food into myfitnesspal.com, gave up soft drinks, drink lots of water, and do a little Power 90. I try to stay under 2,000 calories a day.

I use the "loseit.com" app and website. I'm looking to lose another 20 pounds or so (I've lost about 8 so far). My wakeup call was gaining about 8-10 pounds in less than a week over the holidays (I'm not counting the 8 pounds in that temporary gain).

I think honor system is in effect here. Especially since we are just playing for medals

I use loseit as well. I've lost 16 pounds since January and I'm trying to shed more.

That's correct, we'll use the honor system. If everyone PMs me their weight on the weigh-in days, I can compile them and post standings as we go along.

So fellow losers, is everybody good at postponing until after HuskieJohn gets back from vacation? That would put our start date at March 31, 2 weeks from today.

Honor system, PM weights (no scale pictures needed). I won't publish weights, just percentage lost.

RE: CSNBBS Biggest Loser
My husband & I began a weight loss program together at the first of the year, changing eating habits & giving the ole treadmill a workout. MyFitnessPal has been a big help. So far I've lost 28 lbs. I'd like some friendly competition from you guys to help keep things fresh, so count me in.

I would love to join, but if I lose anymore weight I will be a walking skeleton. I am already below 150 and medically underweight, so I shall be glad to take anyone's excess weight.

Keep up the good work and God Bless!

When does this start exactly? I've already been working on it some, but need some motivation. I have between today and the kickoff of football season to lose at least 47 pounds. I'd like to get to 190 by then, and perhaps a 180 by Christmas.

RE: CSNBBS Biggest Loser
I'm 6'3". When I was in the best shape of my life, I was 175 lbs senior year of college. Eventually I ballooned up to 225 two years ago. When my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer (almost two years in remission, thank God), I told myself I needed to get my act together. I lost 45 lbs with the assistance of Weight Watchers (and training for Ironman) to get to 180. I've gained some of that weight back and sit at 198. I'm competing at Kona this year and want to get my weight back down to 175. So I'm in....I won't be able to do my weights every other day but I'll submit my weights weekly. Good luck to all. Recommendations: portion control and exercise fix everything. You can still eat bad things once in a while, but try to keep on pace weekly.

I think we're going to do the initial weigh-in on March 31.
