Something fishy going on in Storrs, IMO. That game last year cost us valuable tournament seeding.
22-2 this year. YIKES

in a weird way, may help UConn out. Now in 6th place, if they lose on Sunday or Memphis wins- would be 6 seed. I think a Cincy/Tulsa road to get to the title game is much easier than a Temple/SMU road to the title game.(well, plus the 1st rd Houston or USF game).

UCONN swept Memphis in football and basketball last year. This year Memphis swept UCONN in both. 04-cheers

Purvis showed that his SMU game was playing out of his mind. 3 points

Entertaining, refs sucked as always. Our leagues refs suck all the way around. I can point out the same ones that are always bad too.

Purvis has been the most inconsistent player for UCONN this year. You never know what you'll get with him. 03-banghead

Earlier he was talking about all the "weak competition in the ACC" I think he must have been trolling fan bases for Twitter comments or something...

Yeah, there was no need for that especially after an exciting game.

so is anyone more snake bit this year than UConn? 3 1 point losses and 3 more by 4 points or less. You get a different bounce of the ball 2-3 times, and UConn is not only going dancing, but with a decent seed....

Congrats. We've been 'UConned' 2 years in a row up there. It's a miracle we got the W tonight.

UConn could have helped themselves by shooting better than 27% from the field. Might have been Tiger defense. Of course UConn also took 20 more freethrows than the Tigers. Might have also been that defense.

Oh and it was good to snuff out UConn's any remaining ideas about an 'at large.'

Trolling a school/fan-base because you didn't like the officiating is pretty dumb. These are conference officials, not home-team employees.

Submit your concerns/complaints to Aresco and have a nice day.

After it was over ESPN's broadcasters, two unbiased guys, came over to the Memphis crew calling the game and said that the officials served up some home cooking to the UConn team. Not Tiger fans.
