Why only one vote? I'd like NMSU for all sports. . . . That still leaves us short one IF the point is to get to 12 and a CG. . . .

So, give me NMSU all sports and Mo St. . . . . Followed by JMU, when and if they ever make up their collective minds . . . . .

If Southern Miss wins, I think they should have to change their name to Mississippi Southern before admitted. Has a much nicer ring to it.

Or South Mississippi.

That way it matches one of the two established "south" universities already here.

See, this is where it gets grey.

I believe the majority of JMU FANS want in the Sun Belt (not necessarily even the Sun Belt, they want FBS. We just happen to be their best shot right now).

Their Administration... Does not appear to want in the Sun Belt.

So to answer your question... Yes and no.

Only their fans.

Their leadership is delusional.

Isn't Carl Withers the head football coach at JMU?

"It's all in the hips!"

Which is why Liberty is the best candidate. Ready, willing, and able from fans to admin and everyone else too.

Just in case you don't know, Everett Withers is an Appy alumni and former football player. He was born and raise in Charlotte, NC. You are talking about one of your own. I try to speak well of my Dukes, is that not the case for you Mountaineers?

I was aware as well as I was aware of his time at UNC where he had the audacity to make academic insults of other institutions while his athletes weren't even going to classes. Same Everett Withers who refused to be interviewed by Kenneth Wainstein in the internal investigation into UNC's academic fraud scandal. This is the same one, right? The one your school still has employed?
