Home attendance for 2014-15 dropped 2,206 (-13.7%) per game compared to last season. The tickets sold average of 13,915 is the worst for the program in at least 10 seasons (there was no tickets sold average for the 2004-05 season). It is possibly the worst tickets sold average for Memphis Tigers men's basketball home games since the Johnny Jones season of 1999-00 (15 years ago).

Unless they roll out to a 8-1 to 10-1 start. Even then it'll take 5-6 games to build momentum and it will be tough to get the average up.....

Not if those 10 wins are against usc upstate type teams.

Pastner has lost the fan base and it won't be back until he can beat the best teams on a consistent basis.

I'M ALREADY OUT... I go to games for entertainment value and I went to one game after paying $1K per seat donation not to mention season tickets...

I left the one game I went to feeling frustrated and like CJP was getting $2.65 to provide garbage entertainment with no plan....

I've already called to give my tickets away...They're in section C3...go for it!

Ehh I dunno. I think a lot of folks are so down that even if a new hire happens, it may take a year to reel those people back in enough to purchase tickets again. They'll choose to watch from afar for a year

I would respectfully disagree. You pick up Greg Marshall or Pearl or someone on that level and people will come out in full force.

If they hire GM I'll renew my season tickets again.

I would agree about Pearl and probably Marshall, as well. How about Archie Miller - he's one of the up and coming good young coaches who is winning at Dayton.

Here's the thing: I don't care what anyone says, those attendance #'s are AWESOME. Anyone who says that this isn't a top-15 program is crazy. There are very, very, very few programs that can consistently put up the #'s that you see in this post. Kentucky, North Carolina, Syracuse, Indiana, Ohio State, Kansas....that's pretty much it.

Throw in great facilities and a great hometown recruiting advantage and there is NO way that this isn't a top-15 job.
