gets traded to a sucky team, gets more minutes, and is taking advantage of the opportunities: 15 pts, 4 rbs; 22pts, 8 rbs; 22 pts, 2 rbs, in 3 blow-out losses.

RE: Will the Thrill
Will had 16 pts and 10 Rebs in 27 min vs Pelicans. Tyreke had 22-7-7 as he seems to flirt with triple double every night.

Always thought Portland was one of worst possible teams that Will could have landed on given their experience and depth at 2 and 3 spot. Tyreke is a workhorse. Proud of former Tigers!

Not being mean, but Black has a long string of DNP since joining Lakers.

We miss both guys. Without those guys the years they were here we would have had a 2014/2015 season.

Don't agree with that. Both of those teams in their last year were very talented. Of course, Tyreke was a man playing with boys but didn't Will's last team win 31 games?

Will with 25 pts, 9 Rebs on 10-16 shooting tonight; Denver beats New Orleans who had moster game by Davis.

So players don't develop here? Maybe it is a matter of getting in right situation. He was never going to play much in Portland as they are loaded at his spot.

No. It was the season after Will left that we won 31 games.

Will hit a 3 to send it into overtime. On the other side, three had 25 points, 10 boards and 9 assists ins losing effort, and teammate Elliot Williams had 2 points and a rebound. Talk about representing.

Best player Pastner has had. Nichols is a close second.

And Portland didn't play the style of Offense that would have allowed Will to participate full speed ahead. Portland did Will a big favor to trade him out of that situation.

I think they knew he had the IT factor, but his IT didn't fit there.

In fairness, Black played 20 minutes last night. 7 points, 7 boards, and "only" 2 fouls. He was also 3-3 from the free throw line.

I don't think the Nuggets are going to be great any time soon, but I'm sure glad for Will.

Well, I learnt something this morning...I always thought "a long string of" something meant "a consecutive run of things" or things that occurred "in a row".

but Nichols is still improving...not really fair is it?
Couldn't Will have improved his game a bit more if he had stayed another year at Memphis?

5 in a row
4 of 5
5 in a row

Does that meet your definition?

Fair enough...but the other side of that is:

4 games in a row of 20+ minutes
7 games in a row of 15+ minutes
6 games in a row of 15+ minutes
