Exactly.. I think it's time to change the starting group. The bench needs scoring so out Lee on the bench and start TA
Nah, I think Lee needs to stay in the starting lineup. His spacing is important. I think we should move Jeff Green back to the bench, because he's not getting enough touches with our starters to be effective, and we need his scoring.

Jeff Green didn't play in the 4th. What was up with that?

I'm ok with either.. We need energy though from the tip and we all know TA brings it night in and night out

When was the last time we started strong? I honestly can't remember. Every game we win is a terrible struggle until the end usually

Tony Allen is somewhat wasted on the 2nd unit. His biggest attribute is defending the other teams best perimeter scorer. Who is on the 1st unit.

Yeah, it was even worse in person. The Clips D totally disrupted our offensive sets from the very start. It's a miracle it was tied at halftime. When LA scored like the first 8 points of the 2nd half, that was pretty much all she wrote. We seemed very tentative all night on offense. On to the next game.

Think about it: With Conley, Marc, and Zbo in the game, how can we expect Green to be productive? Lee is passive and deferential by nature so he's a good fit. Too many scorers in the starting lineup and not enough shots to go around. Meanwhile, the bench unit of Beno, Nick, Tony, Leuer and Kosta is Brick City.
Move Green back to the bench unless we're facing a legit SF with size and length. Matt Barnes doesn't qualify.

Agree. Joeger should be more situational with his lineups. If we're playing the thunder, tony allen needs to start to check Durant. Or the Clippers he should start to check Chris Paul.
At some point we just need to squeeze Leuer out of the rotation. I assume when Vince comes back. Play small ball with Green at PF a fair amount of minutes with the 2nd unit

RE: Grizzlies vs. Floppers pt. 2: Electric Boogaloo
Last 5 games stats:
FGM: 174
FGA: 427
FG%: 40.7%
3PM: 17
3PA: 64
3P%: 26.6%
FTM: 81
FTA: 107
FT%: 75.7%
In those 5 games we only had one game, 1st Clippers game, where we were actually over the average FG%. We are shooting around the same number of time between 81-89 shots per game. We just aren't making as many. Clippers first game we were 42-89. In the 2nd Clippers game we were 33 of 87. So we shot about the same number of times but made 9 less shots. In the Portland game we were 32 of 86 but made 23 free throws.

RE: Grizzlies vs. Floppers pt. 2: Electric Boogaloo
It all boils down to effort. There were times last night on offense they were barely moving. Calkins article this morning was spot on.
These last few games especially the last two are very troublesome. It's starting to become a trend and one that we have seen before.
A change in the lineup definitely needs to be made though

One of the dynamics that I think have shifted is that normally Udrih would come off the bench and seem to spark the offense. With Calathes now first off the bench our defense is outstanding but our offense stagnates. I think that I would bring in Udrih first and then bring in Calathes later. I wouldn't necessarily change the lineup right now. The only possible change is Allen for Green but I am not sure about that one.

Udrih is still first off bench. He was Wed, he was last night, and I'm pretty sure he was Monday and Sunday.
It's not as simple as just making shots. Earlier in the year they were moving well and had better spacing leading to better shots. Now the spacing is poor and the movement is not as crisp leading to more difficult and desperate shots.
