Regardless of coaching talent, schemes, hardships, or even victories, if the stadium is empty, the AD has no choice but to shake things up.

Not with a president who is not real concerned with athletics. The AD is left to run things as he sees fit.

And the AD isn't going to change anything unless he is FORCED to (i.e., an NCAA infraction).

It's really sad when 2 or 3 wins is considered "safe territory" for a coach.

He was a bad hire, and results have backed it up.

I won't hold anything from their first season against them. A lack of measurable improvement through six seasons is another story. Unfortunately, they don't have the luxury of comparing results to history and calling something a fluke. Gotta win some games...

Miles is fine, or should be, with 2-3 wins this season. Miles has a problem, with just 1 win. The whole program has a problem, or should, with no wins this season.

He didn't enroll 17 kids in January to win 2 or 3 games. He knows what's up.

I didn't specify sports but if Troy Men's basketball doesn't see a markable improvement in 2015-2016 Cunningham could be let go after his 3rd year.

I do believe this year had a lot to do with being really young (2 seniors total) and tons of injuries. Several people believe next year we will see a big improvement. But we will see.

Cobb had a chance to get his guy at App in 2005 and gave Moore another shot. Many wanted him gone after winning 10, 9, 8, 7, and then 6 games from 2000-2004. Instead he and Peacock gave him another shot and resources to compete. Many people seem to forget that part of the story for some reason.

Cobb will likely allocate more resources to football than they have ever had before.

Ill go with Todd Berry (ULM)

2010 -- 5-7
2011 -- 4-8
2012 -- 8-5 (Brownings break out year)
2013 -- 6-6
2014 -- 4-8

27–34 record in the SBC and 56–93 in his HC career

Can he survive another Sub .500 year?

ULM cannot afford anyone better.

Already is. Miles will have precious few excuses.
