up and coming coach
Kevin Keatts is an interesting up and comer. As much as I hate Pitino, I love his coaching style. This is one of his proteges.

Nice call:

@jonrothstein Mid-Major Watch: Defending CAA champ UNC-Wilmington is 17-2 and 6-0 in conference play under Kevin Keatts. Averaging an impressive 87.0 PPG.

He seems to be legit. Thanks for the reply. I don't usually get decent convo back at this board. 04-cheers

This is the guy I recommended Memphis hire when Josh left.

It is in the prediction thread and I am too lazy to look it up.

thread title needs more pizazz, signature needs some semi-nude ladies and/or funny gif's.

That's the thread I was actually searching for, but this one was easier to find.

You are not in the clique. Keep at it. Good post. For those hating Pitino, remember he played us when he didn't have to and voiced support for us into BE among other good things.

Easterwood and I wanted Forbes. Not sure about KE, but I stand by that. Forbes is younger, hungrier than the Tubbster.

What's with GP and Calkins infatuation with Andy Kennedy? He's generated mediocre results for many, many years. GP said it himself when making the case against Butch Jones (whom he seems to have a weird vendetta against): good coaches are usually good right away, wherever they are ; average coaches tend to stay average. I guess he doesn't believe this applies to Kennedy.

Just found out that Clayton Hughes out of USJ went to UNCW with Keats. I remember him being pretty highly sought after and signed with UCF. Dude can flat get up!

He was one of the guys I mentioned last year when we were discussing candidates.

Gotta identify these guys before they make their run. Once one of these guys wins a 15 vs. 2 matchup or makes a Sweet 16 run, everyone wants a piece.

You clowns need to let the folks calling the shots do their job. They have made excellent choices. Not gonna be any shady deals under Rudd and Bowen
