Gave me a boner just listening to her talk about Viagra.

Just make sure and get medical attention if it lasts longer than 4 hours.

I'm by no means a fan boy but since you clearly put the blame squarely on Pastner, what specifically in this game do you think lost it for us? What coaching decisions cost us this game?

They only thing I put on him was putting KJ back in the game with a few mins in the first half to pick up his third.

It's not the "coaching decisions" that cost us....it's the lack of "coaching decisions" that cost us.

You see?

Cause he needs it?

No, but if he even thinks 4 hours, he will need medical attention 05-mafia

And I will need medical attention if he ever reads this thread.....

The lack of execution on offense lost the game. It it not just an issue with the PG. Watch how ineffective our screens and picks are. Watch how poor our timing is. This is nothing new, it happens every time a talented team plays us man to man. Shaq and King were great and kept us in the game with individual effort. Only 1 of NK 3's was out of a set play. Shaq was just throwing junk in from everywhere.

When Cunningham holds/dribbles ball for 25 seconds you aren't going to execute s***. He is a nightmare for that long a period of time.

I expected we'd lose. Las Vegas expected we'd lose. No surprise... we lost.
SMU currently has a better program than Memphis.

No, not to me. I don't have that problem.

But she is definitely hot.

I don't think she's British, though. Her teeth were too nice.

It's not just an issue when Cunningham was in the game. We have this problem every time we face a good team. They take away the easy passes, then our lack of execution and discipline shows up.

Post passes should be easy passes. Our guards telegraph every post pass and pick up their dribble everytime they get ready to try a post pass.

This is all Pastner. His players, his coaches, his 'system'.

He built this roster all by himself.

He's been in over his head since day 1.

Most of it is easy to fix. But we continue to have the same issues....JP needs a teaching assistant if he is going to remain as head coach.

I would think you and I could teach a player how to throw a post entry pass to give the ball to a big 10 feet from the goal. For some reason, ours can't do it to save their life.

Post passes are most difficult to make. Takes years to perfect. Cunningham will NEVER be effective post passer.

Clearly. Because we have yet to find a player that can throw one consistently. I see a lot of other programs are good at developing that rare skill though.

RE: Anyone who thinks Pastner lost this game is
Saw it in the Gonzaga game, saw it tonight - opposition talent that plays as a team and at an execution level far above our guys. Somewhere underneath all that goes into a game is coaching & teaching that through practice makes a group of guys better collectively than 5 individuals that might be as talented but absolutely do not operate with the same team efficiency. IMO, that's the difference between the SMU team tonight & the Memphis player on the floor. No doubt Shaq played one of his better games & there was good effort by the guys Memphis had on the floor. I thought the box & one Memphis played was effective at times, keeping Moore in check - but SMU had an answer virtually every time down the floor in the 2nd half - AND THAT IS COACHING. Coaching makes good talent play well together, makes them a team. Good coaching adjusts to what is hindering its productivity, good coaching anticipates, good coaching attacks the weakness of the defense & good coaching takes away the opposition productivity. Coaching builds confidence & produces execution. SMU showed the influence of good coaching & they owned us, even in a competitive game. SMU players played with poise & consistency - and on top of that they are very talented.
