RE: To the few sunshine pumpers that remain..
And getting players to listen is arguably the single most important skill for a coach, and makes guys like Saban and Calipari so effective in the major college sports in which you have to have athletes as well.

Lost to Gonzaga, Indiana, Arkansas and twice to Cincinnati.. The only game outside of conference with a name that they beat was Michigan and they aren't any good.. The AAC is not very good this year..I'm surprised there RPI is as good as it is..

I'm not surprised that you are surprised. Kennedy missed all 3 of their losses OOC, and they played two pure road games; at Gonzaga and at Indiana. You would probably also be surprised to learn that Gonzaga is 137-8 at home over the last 10 years. They have won 13 of their last 14 and are playing great basketball.
Their schedule mirrors the schedule that Cal and Pastner played their first 5 years. What few chances they have at beating ranked teams all happen before New Year's and are mostly on the road. If SMU had opportunities to play ranked teams at home now, they would win a lot of the time.
Stammers what the heck are you talking about?? I'm not surprised at all with your response.. What you answered has nothing to do with my question.. Let me put it in simple terms- I questioned how SMU's RPI was so good being that they lost to all those teams, not why they lost, or who they didn't have when they lost, or how good they are now compared to then.. fsquid answered the question!! I know how hard it is to beat the teams they lost to on the road, duh, even Indiana with the horrible Coach Tom Crean!!

Caution. You have entered the no spin zone.

He out coached Brown...clear as day for anyone without an agenda.
