I agree with those adds but it seems the consensus is to just add any school no matter how cheesey as long as they have a football team.

How bout y'all add one (a FB team), you know . . . . So we don't have to add cheesey

Drop Idaho, round robin schedule Ga South plays a complete SBC schedule every year, leaving no doubts.

Ok that was actually funnier than FJ's Kennesaw State post. LOL

So far Liberty has made the initial cut. The top 15 are:

School Nominations

Missouri State 4
Southern Mississippi 3
Western Kentucky 3
New Mexico State 3
Eastern Kentucky 3
Louisiana Tech 2
UTA Football 2
Alabama Birmingham 2
Kennesaw State 1
Rice 1
Middle Tennessee 1
Coastal Carolina 1
Massachusetts 1
Jacksonville State 1
Liberty 1

Should I keep the nominations round open for 24 or 48 hours? Shorter?

Would you STOP nominating Kennesaw State every other day?
Not just no, but HE double L NO! I'd take Liberty everyday (And twice on Sunday 03-lmfao ) over Kennesaw State.

We have enough Georgia teams. I'd MUCH rather take Jacksonville State if we are going to go three from one state.

You are right. You can't invite Liberty twice and I never heard of the third school.

I would like to see Liberty join the Belt.

I'm going with South Carolina St. We collect the entrance fee and they dump the bill on the South Carolina taxpayers. What do they have to lose?

Add New Mexico State, Missouri State, Eastern Kentucky

New Mexico State
Texas State
Louisiana
ULM
Arkansas State
Missouri State

South Alabama
Troy
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
Eastern Kentucky
Appalachian State
This.

I'd have no problems with this . . . I don't see Idaho in your divisions, so I'm assuming we've "let them off the bus." My only question would be:
Is Eastern Kentucky ready?

I believe that EKU is driving to have much of the renovations done for the 2016 football season. The minimum for football is a new east side stand with some "luxury" boxes for 2016 and at least renovation of the stands on the west side with the potential of imploding that side and building something new in the future.

Not sure what you mean by "taking" Liberty twice on a Sunday - I think the Fighting Falwells may consider you a sinner then.

Why are we doing this? The CEO's made it very clear last year when they declined to add anyone that "none of the above" was better than what was available.

Unless Missouri State has changed, I don't see how or why we'd think the Sun Belt is about to expand.

That was last year. Opinions and options change continuously. Have you voted in the primary? http://csnbbs.com/thread-728593.html

Since last year...UAB's situation has changed and with UMASS needing a home for their football....that combination is a better option than Liberty. NMSU for all sports is also more likely with WKU no longer voting.

Best option is to add NMSU for all sports, UAB/UMASS and Missouri State.

What has changed that would lead you to think the opinion from last year would be different?

LOL!!! You think anyone that is in a decision making position on conference expansion is reading this poll? Bird is right, until the opinions of those that make decisions change, there will be no additions to the Sun Belt in the near future.

Come on alma mater; 2 votes. That's pretty good, UT Arlington. We're already in a great conference. Do us and them a favor and BRING BACK FOOTBALL.

Okay; I'm finished.02-13-banana

Nah..Just kidding...

It remains James Madison for me. Makes too much sense. I get it. They have some b*tchy fans who think they're too good for us. I think sitting out a year has helped many of them see the value.
