Cusa deserves at least two bids, unfortunately we have to deal with an unfair system. If anyone other than ODU wins the tournament it would at least give you a chance.
UTEP would be on the bubble if we didn't lose to Marshall and Southern Miss
The one good thing going for the bubble is that there has only been one bid stolen so far. I don't think there's a team in the MWC that's going to steal one. Outside of SDSU, Boise, and Colorado St., there really aren't a lot of good teams there. I guess you'd need to watch the American (UConn?) and the A-10 (Richmond/UMass?). Other than that, I don't think there will be another one. But, I've been wrong before.
Uconn has a pretty good chance.
Maybe not this year, I think the 4 from the American are Tulsa, Temple, SMU and Cincinnati

The AAC tourney is in Conn. this year. UCONN could certainly steal a bid.

What will it take for CUSA to get multiple teams dancing?
But even if Uconn wins the AAC would still get the same number of spots (3 or 4 I think)

Tulsa is done...Everyone is moving off of them and for good reason. I called that 10 days ago. Temple needs to show up in the AAC Tournament but they open with Memphis. One and done and they sweat on Sunday.

We will never know. While we were playing VCU, Richmond, Georgia State, LSU and William and Mary and beating them, they were playing Abilene Christian, Arkansas Little Rock and SE Missouri State.
That is not what the committee likes to see with a bubble team.
They lost to SE Oklahoma State...they are not going to receive an at large.

I doubt that the committee wouldn't give UCONN a chance to defend their title.

How are those sanctions treating you? Well, if there was one school that should have known the consequences of getting too good too fast....

At this point Tulsa odds of an at-large are exponentially higher than ODU. But who knows Tulsa could lose there first tourney game.

Its not that hard just do a little research
http://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-tournam.../#american
Tulsa 84% odds of at-large - 14-4 2nd in the American, SOS 101, Wins Temple twice, Memphis twice, Auburn
ODU 8%

Auburn is a good win? What lol?
ODU has better wins, a better top 100 record, and a better RPI. Tulsa has better losses, better SOS, and plays in a better bball conference. The UTSA loss really hurt ODU

That website says that Tulsa have an 83% chance of getting an at large if they lose their first game in the AAC tournament, rpiforecast says that would give them an rpi of 61 and a 200+ rpi loss (although Tulane would probably creep inside 200 with a win against Tulsa, Houston wouldn't). I don't trust the simulations of that website, there are glaring errors.

It was by far one of the most accurate websites for predicting the NCAA teams last year and the year before. ESPN, CBS sports forget about it, not even close. RPI is only important when the selection committee wants it to be.

BYU losses to Gonzaga but I think BYU will still get in. BYU has an impressive resume - beat Gonzaga in Spokane and snapped Gonzaga's 41 game home win streak.

UTSA is a bad loss but I'd hope it's seen in a better light than losing to a Div II team.
