Big news: #ECU to host five-star 2016 recruit Bam Adebayo on Wednesday against #UConn http://bit.ly/1JCO8NN

He's only here so he can see UConn play twice. 05-stirthepot 03-lmfao

All joking aside, this would be a HUGE get, and a needed big.
He's not visiting tonight

If true, that's all right. Unlike previous years, he can watch it on ESPNU !!

If we can surprise land Ingram (another local longshot), Adebayo will fall in line for sure. If Ingram heads to UNC Adebayo will be more of a long shot but I think we still can pull it out if Lebo puts the full court press on him after the 2015 class is finalized.

There is still a chance my man. Literally 30 minutes away and we're putting on the full court press.

Well I hope he was watching and realizes he could be a major contributor from day one.

From the director of our 247 site, Bam Adebayo will visit tomorrow vs. Temple:

ECU feels like it has a legit chance with Bam and Parker.

Thats Kwe Parker that he's referencing: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/basket...kwe-parker

If we got both we would be instantly on the map. Now what the chances of us landing one or both are can't be that great, but one can dream.

Reading through this thread I feel like I have died and gone to heaven.

Seriously, are we in the running for these guys?

That would be absolutely ridiculous. Would give us a top 25 class, for sure.

I just am not going to get my hopes up at all.

Good things don't happen to ECU basketball.

See post before. ECU feels good about their chances. As for who he is considering, he has offers from everyone basically in the country. Word is he will stay in-state and his mother wants him close to home. He lives about 30 minutes from ECU.

I don't know why, but I see the kid going to NC State.

That would be awesome if you can land him and good for overall conference strength. Might be the first time ecu being in greenville has helped you land a top recruit lol

If we start landing eastern NC talent, its gameover. Considering Michael Jordan, Jerry Stackhouse, Dominique Wilkins, etc. all came from Eastern NC, the talent pool is rich.

The strangest part is that ECU's recruiting grounds consistently produces some of the best players in the Country. All of those kids visit ECU and a lot of them (like Montrezl Harrell, Brandon Ingram, Adebayo, DeShawn Freeman and Gary Clark) even make unofficial visits on their own; but something happens between their visits and actually committing. I don't get it. It seems like ECU should get some of those guys.

It would definitely put ECU in the upper half of talent in the AAC with Memphis. Truth be told Kentrell Barkley should be a really talented player for ECU.
