It's really irritating seeing GT get in as a 9 and Illinois as a 12 when our UC team last year would have taken both those squads to the woodshed..

I think Pitt got a pretty good draw. I'm surprised they got a three. I thought they should have dropped down to a four after GTown embarrassed them last night.

I could see ND getting to the sweet sixteen but Winthrop is one of the best mid majors out there.

Also interesting that Kansas got the top overall seed...

The South region is the only one left and I think the committee is setting up a Memphis/Louisville game. Tennessee will also be in that bracket maybe setting up a chance for Lofton to play Louisville....one of the two state schools that ignored him.

If I were Kansas I would be pissed, because I would not want any part of Kentucky in the 2nd round. I'm calling it, if Kentucky and Kansas meet in the 2nd round I think Kansas is gone.

Can't believe Syracuse was left out. WVU was deserving too but Syracuse being left out is a travesty...they were robbed by the selection committee to fed the ACC and Big 10.

The ACC has the best PR machine in the business. Before the season started the ACC had all their coaches on the same page building up their league. The ACC was pissed last season & was not about to be denied this year.

Exactly. Syracuse screwed out to help the ACC and Big 10 = Cincinnati getting screwed out to help the mid-majors. Bottomline, the best teams don't get at-large bids unfortunately. That being said, Drexel was also robbed.

Including Air Force? Because that's the team that took Cincinnati's bid and that's who I'm talking about when I say mid-major because Air Force's SOS was horrible compared to the other "mid-majors". The Selection Committee was asked on the spot why Air Force and their crappy SOS was taken over Cincinnati their strong SOS/Profile and they refused to answer. But I'm beating a dead horse because what's done is done. No need to open old wounds.
