I know we want to get to the Tournament, but I'd still feel better if we won the regular season to ensure NIT, at least. I really don't want to play in one of the lesser two tourneys.

I really hope we keep this defense up. Last six opponents shooting under 60%.

Troy trying to make things interesting. Puts AState back in the Women's title race. Our coach announced our title chances dead yesterday because "We're the only team that can beat UALR"

Lets put Troy on UALR's side of the tourney bracket...shall we?

Troy has a good club... I think us 3 are clear stand outs.

Troy has also started getting hot here at the end of the season. Wouldn't shock me to see our women in the final tourny game...

There is no Elfrid Payton in the conference this year. Nobody will be able to take over a game and control tempo against us in crunch time.

I think the Cajuns were the biggest concern for a lot of us going into the tourney last year. I'll know more about how I feel about our shot at specific teams after seeing us match up against ULM and Southern to end the season.

So, nobody tell Troy, but i think i'm gonna ask Arkansas State out on a date after tonight...

Finally, back to first place in the 'belt (albeit tied), owning all tie breakers (assuming we beat Southern at home). Panthers on top.

Somehow, someway, our actual basketball team, the one that plays well together and does things the right way, showed up tonight. My guess is that it had something to do with making sure ULM didn't win the title. That, and the fact we always play them well.

I'm definitely hopeful, but Southern technically has the top spot until we face them again. They control their destiny just as much as we do.

It is nice to at least see the three-way tie, though!
