I'm in class, would love a recap or some updates

Some topics were: the MAC being a one bid league, the Conference ranked as the #10 League-being head of the Missouri Valley that has 2 top 25 teams, why UT doesn't play more Zone, recap of the Kent and Buffalo games with more emphasis on the loss, How Coach K has improved as a
Coach since his earlier days at UT.Went over team leading stats, etc.

One very interesting thing that Coach K mentioned was that Toledo is #1 in the MAC in three point field goal percentage defense. Despite the fact that it seems like teams hit a lot of threes against us, the stats say that Toledo's three point defense is the best in the league.

Can you offer more about us not playing zone very much

Coach K said that they are not a very good zone team this year because of personnel (For example, Juice is not a good zone player because of his size), but they will be a better zone team next season. They will play a little zone at times during the rest of this season.

He also said that it would not have been a good idea to play zone against Kent because they are a very good three point shooting team and were shooting very well from three in that game.

Said the defense was not that good in the first half against Kent, but UT
got on it in the 2nd half. Defense was about as good as it gets when Jackson dropped those deep 3's.

Coach K also mentioned that a team needs to finish in the Top 4 to have a "realistic" shot of winning the MAC Tournament so they don't have to play those first two games on Monday and Wednesday nights. Despite the loss to Kent St., Coach K says he still feels real good about how his team is playing and that they just need to concentrate on "Toledo" and not worry about how the othe teams are doing.
