I think I'm going to get Sling TV. The only problem is that it only works on one TV at a time.
Bummer.
Which is a rip off if you ask me...CUSA digital tv network is just individual schools, with sometimes scoreboard feed that is not great quality audio or video....Only keeping sports package for 5 months at $65 for me is a great deal to watch games on an actual TV and also have ability to record, stop, pause, rewind live action...To me that is way more worth it than watching online feed....Everyone has their own opinion, I just prefer Direct TV....
But you don't get every game on direct tv. I have it and even with the basketball package you don't get cusa games.

Are you a full subscriber to Sling? I couldn't get it but I might not be able to do that unless I was a full subscriber and not on the 2 week free trial?
I am. I got an early invite in mid-to-late January. I have been waiting for a la carte cable for a long time. Just got tired of paying for channels I never watch and this is the closest we have ever come to it.

I've been able to see every televised UTEP game except one on DirecTV. And there have been more televised than in long time.

If you're talking about the espn full court then no, you would not get C-USA games because we don't have a contract with espn. If you get Directv's sports package, then yes, most C-USA basketball games that are televised are available.

Apparently I signed up for sling when I was drunk last night.
I have been watching it today. Works pretty flawlessly. Have had any buffering or frame rate issues and the picture is hd

What’s better than sports? More sports! With Sling TV, you can now access even more action on ESPN3 via the WatchESPN app and WatchESPN.com. That means you get more sports with your Sling TV subscription.
Just download the WatchESPN app or visit WatchESPN.com and sign in with your Sling TV username and password, and – boom! – you’ve got even more sports.
Watch live sports anytime, anywhere on your favorite devices, including Amazon Fire TV products, Roku players, Roku TV models, iOS, Android, Mac and PC. Plus, with your Sling TV username and password, you can access WatchESPN content on even more devices like Apple TV, Google Chromecast, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Not enough for you? Add on the Sports Extra from Sling TV, and get SEC Network, ESPNU, ESPNEWS and ESPN Buzzer Beater on both Sling TV and the WatchESPN app.

Are you being obtuse on purpose? If a game is not scheduled for tv then you won't see it on Directv or Dish period. The last 6 games that UTEP had as scheduled for tv were:
01/17/15 at UTSA * San Antonio, Texas W, 73-55 asn
01/22/15 at Western Kentucky * Bowling Green, Ky. L, 71-66 (OT) fsn
01/24/15 at Marshall * Huntington, W.Va. L, 78-71 asn
01/29/15 vs. UAB * Don Haskins Center W, 71-69 cbssn
02/05/15 at Florida Atlantic * Boca Raton, Fla. W, 63-56 asn
02/07/15 at FIU * Miami, Fla. W, 67-64 asn
All except the last one, the FIU game, were on Directv. I saw them.

Maybe they were blacked out here in El Paso. Last game I saw on tv here was Marshall.

Cannot watch ASN in Columbus, GA with the cable company. Not sure what it will be like this fall. Hope we have more of our games on fox or cbs.
Will cut the cable tie for sure if we lose contract with fox and cbs.
I saw more games the previous year before the ASN contract.

Don't get me wrong. I love the new sports network showing CUSA games. I think however that not all of their scheduled games are being sent out to all the TV markets within CUSA.
Just a question. If you purchase the CUSA all access, will they stream the Network broadcast or just the stadium broadcast?

Correct. We only get games involving Marshall. It stinks.

Does anyone know what the tv schedule is going to be for the CUSA tournament?

I think it is either on Fox Sports 1 or CBS Sports. Championship game might be on regular CBS. Can't remember for sure. Either way, Sling isn't going to help you for it.

RE: OT: Sling TV deal
So is Sling just the stick plug in? I'd also have to get a internet provider as opposed to have TWC which also carries my internet now.
$25 for Sling+Sports, $6 for Netflix and ? for ISP? Hmmmm
