If they can get in with a loss...that will be the loss to get them in. If Louisville gets to the final and does well there or wins it all, WVU will benefit and may sneak in.

Pitt will not get past Marquette or Louisville. You have to have some team speed to beat either one of those teams and we know what Pitt record is against those two schools, 0-3.

Going by the way teams have played the past 3 weeks it looks like a colision course for a Georgetown-Louisville Big East final with the Hoyas winning.

At best you'll be half right. ;-)

Solid win for the Panthers last night, now you face a tougher challenge in David Padgett and Derrick Caracter.

Pitt's looking for a revenge tour. They were 1-4 against Marquette, UofL, & Georgetown and its shaping up for them to have a shot at all 3 if they win. Hopefully the Cards don't let them see the Hoyas a 3rd time!

Whoever wins between Marquette and Georgetown will probably win it. But I'd prefer Louisville win the BEast tourney. It looks better for WVU that way.

Congrats on a terrific comeback, your guys did not give up after it looked like in the 1st half we were still too athletic.

Good luck tomorrow against the Hoyas, not too upset because we are still a 4-5 seed more then likely. Pitino needs to tighten it up on those scoring droughts. Thought those were a thing of the past.

Good win for Pitt, hopefully this L will be another wake up call for the ville. Pitt was the team I was looking forward to playing because of the matchup. I just felt we were better at the guard position and we had depth in the post. Low and behold I was wrong tonight. This was the first time since december our freshman played like freshman. We played like a team who was playing behind and not playing to seal the deal. Give Pitt credit they stepped there D up in the second half. We seemed to get to comfortable early and wasn't playing composed. The two errant passes by clark was pretty much the nail in the coffin early in the second half. A pitt defender wasn't even near Twill and Clark just some how throws the ball away.

However, I'm still proud we were able to turn things around. I never want to see my team lose but hopefully this loss will make the squad hungry again. We need that focus back we had before the beast tourny. Hopefully we can get Palacios back and make some sort of run in the NCAA's. I just felt like I was watching the same team I saw in december. Good luck to both Pitt and G-town tommorow.

Call me crazy, but I think that Gray on the bench helped Pitt tonight. Both Biggs and Young add an element of athleticism that Aaron lacks. Gray's value is in his understanding of Pitt's system and his execution of it. Louisville looked good in the first half but it looked like the freshmen suddenly realized that they were on the biggest stage in the conference playing for a berth in the finals and tightened up. Pitt has been to the finals 6 of the last 7 years. Having been there before helps a lot. All in all it was a great game and a lot of fun to watch. Good luck to Louisville in the NCAAs.

-- Wow that is impressive.....Ben Howland turned the program/culture around the program around in such a short amount of time and Dixion has kept it rolling

-- With that being said I look for G-Town to win tonight.....They have only lost once in the last several weeks or something like that
