AAC Tournament Bracketology (03/06 update)
We are about 5 weeks out til this years AAC tournament . A lot of basketball to go but if the season ended today,
these would be your match-ups.



Thursday 3/12
(9) UCF vs (8) ECU
(10) Houston vs. (7) Tulane
(11) USF vs. (6) UConn

Friday 3/13
UCF/ECU vs.(1) Tulsa
(5) Memphis vs (4) Temple
Hou/Tulane vs (2) SMU
USF/UConn vs. (3) Cincinnati

That would be an acceptable bracket for us if it were to turn out that way. Our goal should be to stay away from that 2 and 3 seed spot. But we still have a lot of basketball to play.

I would like to avoid the 3-seed if at all possible. No one is going to want to (likely) play UConn in their house.

22 wins seems to be the number to have by the end of the regular season, not counting conference tourney wins, for an ncaa tourney bid.

I want ECU to finish as best as they can, which is realistically is the 7 seed. However having already beaten UCF and playing Tulsa tight, I like where we currently sit.
