LOL

This is somewhat effective just because of the embarrassment factor.

I get the whole message behind locking them out of the locker room and the idea is good, but it's so cliche at this point to do it. There has to be an innovative idea rather than reusing a washed up idea. Has he hung up his "Clear eyes...full hearts...can't lose!" sign yet too?

wait...so he is the coach of your team too? (Memphis)

Now I'm totally confused...thought he coached in TX now.

Nope just hyping the Western division up since we are going to have high scoring offenses in this conference. Western division rocks!!!

I laugh when coaches pull this crap. I'm sure most of the kids did the right thing and don't deserve to be locked out.

As a coach, this stuff isn't crap...and it works. Yes, the innocent get pulled in for something their teammates did. But it is a collective. Those innocent kids will not take being punished lightly...especially taking the fall for something their teammates did. They will hold the offenders accountable. The staff is using pier pressure to enforce rules. It is a very good way to handle things...except for those who have control issues. Nothing will help folks with control issues unless they decide to help themselves.

Just sending a message. You have to earn the right to be in the locker room. No dog house. No coaches pet. Everyone is starting at ground zero.

For the last 3 days the team had 4:45 AM for SC sessions. Everyone showed up. The locker room had been chained closed. Today Herman told them they had earned back the locker room and the chains were removed. He is just building team discipline. This is not the same ole same ole. This coach is all about mental toughness and physicality.

Lol when you're pulling your disciplinary policy from the movie Coach Carter it's not quite as exciting to me. Next he'll be stealing Al Pacino's inches speech from Any Given Sunday.

The Sharks had a great QB from the University of Houston.

Whenever he makes a play I'm like "Yeh, Tim Riggins!". My wife gets pretty annoyed, ha.

according to herman he thinks they were testing the waters to see what they could get away with ..

he also said it served the purpose of team building.....

He must have recently watched Coach Carter.

All of your plays are going to be named after his ex girlfriends.

LOL

Following the melt-down at ECU, that's exactly what Larry Davis should be doing now.
