The HM RB from PA is so good, not one of the 4 top programs in the state offered him. Really says a lot when you're the top rusher in the country.

Huh... I mean that's not implausible... We still have a starting QB from last year who set records in Evans, plus a nationally ranked 4 star QB already on campus as well...

Walking on at Stanford because BB was fired?

Strange, he was on an visit here January 18th (month+ after BB was fired and weeks after 4* QB signed) and tweeted what a great time he had and how excited he was to come to Tulsa. Seems odd that he would change his mind in the last 10 days when nothing has changed...

What is hard to understand about Hefley is why Tulsa was the only D1 school to offer him. I know he committed to Tulsa early but with his record that should not preclude other schools offering him.

Maybe it is because he played in a small private school league.

Makes me wonder if the new coach has said he will honor the previous coach's offer.....but has not shown a lot of interest in him.

I was pretty excited about this kid when he committed. Big arm, not extremely fast, but moves well in the pocket and puts a lot of touch on the ball. His stats/ record are a tad inflated because the competition he plays against, but knowing how to win is a trait all good QB's must possess. Hope we hold on to him.
