I also don't think just because a stadium holds 80,000 - 100,000 people that makes it a great stadium. It just makes it a huge stadium.

Prior to the renovations and expansion being done Nippert certainly had some issues too - especially when the place is full. But those issues are being taken care of and the new Nippert will be even better.

Nippert has a lot going for it - in the heart of the campus, seats close to the action, no bad sight lines.

And it looks great. Very cool looking stadium. Comes accross great on TV.

How about renovating your football team, have you even beat us this century?? We need to drop your pathetic little team from our schedule.

It's obvious this person hasn't been to Clifton lately, it's amazing what's being done there.

It's a great venue and, being smack dab in the middle of campus, be sure to take a tour - great architecture for being an urban campus. A lot nicer than when I attended (mid-70s).

Before/after the game, get some Goetta, Skyline Chili, Graeter's Ice Cream and check out a local brewery:

- Triple Digit Brewing Co. - 1621 Dana Ave, Cincinnati
- MadTree Brewing - 5164 Kennedy Ave, Cincinnati
- Blank Slate Brewing Company - 4233 Airport Rd Unit C, Cincinnati
- Christian Moerlein Brewing Company - 1621 Moore Street, Cincinnati
- Bad Tom Smith Brewery - 4720 Eastern Ave, Cincinnati
- Mt. Carmel Brewing Company - 4362 Mount Carmel Tobasco Road, Cincinnati
- Listermann Brewing Supply & Mfg - 1621 Dana Ave, Cincinnati
- Fifty West Brewing Co - 7668 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati
- Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery - 10 Fountain Square, Cincinnati
- Rhinegeist Brewery - 1910 Elm St, Cincinnati
- Rivertown Brewing Co. - 607 Shepherd Lane #6, Cincinnati
- Boston Beer Company (Samuel Adams) - 1625 Central Pkwy, Cincinnati
- Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. - 1621 Moore St, Cincinnati

We Germans like our beer! 04-cheers

Any of those within walking distance of the campus?

eh not really walking distance as some would require a 30-60 minute stroll at best . Most are a 5-10 minute drive from campus . You can pretty much get all those beers at The Brass Tap right across the street from campus though
