I think about 9 kids from the city of Memphis got nominated. Including our whole recruiting class.

Yeah, I'm that guy.

Then my question to you would be; would you automatically know that they weren't selected for the game?

Think about it; if you are not on the committee that selects the kids and if you only casually follow such things, would you automatically know the outcome with looking at the final roster?

Point well taken......I wouldn't and I absolutely fit the "casually follow" description that you've used.

Take my word for it - forget it and move on.

You're joking, right?

Well I mean he put up better stats than the Temple signee, but NJ is a vastly superior basketball state to NC

Kentrell Barkley: 24.4 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.9 SPG, 1.1 BPG
Trey Lowe: 26.2 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 5 APG, 2.5 SPG. No idea on blocks.

Put up 33 tonight, so his PPG will go up.
He was hurt in one game a couple weeks ago and had go come out early. I haven't seen him since then, but I'd imagine he hasn't been 100%. He was at 26 something PPG 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Pretty sure we weren't relying on Levan Alston coming here, or even really needing him as pur guard play is fine for at least the next couple years.

It's far-fetched because the lowest ranked recruit was #36 in the country, and UConn's 5* PG wasn't even selected. The McDonald's AA game is the absolute best of the best in the country. Kentrell Barkley isn't even rated on Rivals or ESPN, and doesn't even have a profile on Scout.

Levan Alston isn't a PG.

Apparently.

Being rated on ESPN or Rivals is irrelevant. Again comes back to you not fully understanding the recruiting process.

I never called Levan Alston a PG.

Ramen, he is rated second next to Brandon Ingram who is a five star. And NC pumps out at least one Five star a year.

Awesome. Taco Cabana gives away free tacos for SMU games. Time to market Tacko

Temple's 3 man class was all nominated. Levan Alston was a 4* recruit, with offers from BC, Cincy, Georgetown, Marquette, Notre Dame, Harvard, Penn, Penn State, Purdue, Seton Hall, VCU, Wichita State, Auburn, Rutgers, and yes, ECU, and was not selected for the team.

FYI, the lowest ranked recruit selected for the team was Thomas Bryant, the #36 recruit in the country. UConn 5* commit Jalen Adams wasn't even selected.

Why did you turn this into Temple vs ECU?

Congrats Memphis. I hope we can get some classes like this.
