Yeah, #1 in the country for a good portion of last year is nothing special.

If this was last year...you could. But You've got several schools witha lot of players back, and the Cajuns are still in the league at last check.

This isnt the Socon. There are no Wofford's and Furman's to beat up on whenever you go through a losing spell.

Third Time's a charm

The Socon was actually a really good conference for a while. Well at least it was before we (sometimes), GS, Elon, and College of Charleston left.
We can't really complain about all the low rankings in the preseason polls. All they have to go on is last year and we're coming off one of the worst years of all time for App across all sports.

The Belt was a one bid league. Nothing special.

For those of you who haven't figured this out yet, Eagleskins is the kind of person that jumps out from under bridges to attack people who try and cross it.

I just like that other schools' coaches thought we'd be contenders and we have some first team players in the preseason poll.

Even happier those guys are not seniors. Means we got at least 2 years that we should be pretty dang good.

Barring injury Ryan Cleveland is the Belts POY. Mark it down.

USA is usually a tough out. Our two worst years in our history were actually recent ones, 2014 and 2012 (not counting the truncated 15 game opening season in 1965). But even in our worst years we are usually middle of the pack in the Sun Belt (finished T4th in 2012 and T6th in 2014).

I'm interested to see how we fare this year considering the past two years are complete opposites (SBC Co-champ and RPI of 17 to end the regular season in 2013 and worst season ever in 2014).
