Anyone try it yet?

I signed up when they put that page up. Waiting to get my invite. From what I hear the launch is early next month.

RE: Sling TV
Single stream per subscription though, so no sharing it to multiple devices at the same time. That's the only real gotcha I've seen so far.

Yeah, I was reading about that... But I wonder... Is it one stream of (for example) ESPN at a time, while another stream for Disney can happen?

Or just one video feed at all?

Cause that would SUCK for multi TV homes.

And I wonder how a full month of nothing but streaming plus normal internet usage will affect internet prices. Or if it's even a factor.

Nope. One video feed at a time.

Not sure its that big a deal for the cutters they are still going to have antenna or Netflix/Amazon/Hulu+ available to the other sets.

One stream - but subscribers will have access to Watch ESPN. So, while the kids are watching Disney, you watch ESPN through a Watch ESPN app.

I still haven't seen whether subscribers will have access to the Watch Disney apps. If so, even better.

I had seen a Q&A with the CEO where that was announced, but I am now seeing reports that the ESPN feed is actually the WatchESPN feed (with the ""commercial break" messages), so dual-streams may not be possible.

I can still live with that because that means ESPN3 content. I can work with that in a 2 person household. 03-wink

Yeah, I can get someone else's password for the Disney apps anyway. Now, if I can only get Comcast to give me a better price for a faster internet connection.....
