As for the ODU-USM game, that was scheduled months ago. Our AD says it was scheduled at 530 per the request of American Sports Network. They wanted a double-header.

We are really sorry. Shots just started to fall and we went with it. If we did half that against some other teams we'd have 16 or 17 wins.

Now we just need to carry this on into Western on Sunday!

why would one go on an easter egg hunt after ash wednesday (for info)

I don't pay attention to many things going on all over the world in various terms....I hate tv and everything it now represents.....he asked a simple question.....

The weather didn't seem to change other conferences from their start times who were affected by the weather....just the MT start time as another poster stated the USM-ODU game was a scheduled 5:30 tv start.

ODU needed a blowout and got one in USM. What Donnie Tyndall left in the cupboard seems an awful legacy. This was a team that beat us in Norfolk last year by 15, and now this team is losing by 26 after our starters pulled midway in the 2nd half.

I feel for USM fans. A proud program with proud traditions, and having to eat **** sandwiches for both football and basketball must really suck. Godspeed on a return to relevence.

I thought it was only snowing in Boston, just like Katrina only hit new orleans

It's a total dumpster fire.

We had three starters combine for one point. Shot 28% from the field. 17 turnovers. 5 total assists. How is that last stat even possible?

I'm trying to figure out the first stat...3 starters combine for 1 point. Of our 9 total players (all of which played), 6 of them made 0 or 1 shot each (0-4, 0-1, 0-1, 1-3, 1-5, 0-0) and 2 others were 2-4 and 3-12. When you add that together you get 7 total baskets by 8 of the 9 players. THAT IS BAD

My sub-tropical mind just can't discern any practical difference between "cold as sh..." from 5-7 p.m. and "cold as f..." from 7-9 p.m. Everybody north of the Carolinas probably feels the same way about temps over about 85, though.
