Seems Heeke has retained a search firm that is run by MSU alums, and one of their last big hires was Charlie Wise to Kansas 01-ncaabbs

I know many of us were disappointed that KB didn't use a search firm when Cubit was fired, but Murray, Hawkins, Clipfell, and Fleck all look like solid hires in terms of production.

Are we sure WMU didn't use the services of a search firm? I thought I vaguely remember hearing that we did.

Search firms don't do the hiring. They do the behind the scenes leg work the athletic department doesn't have time to do.
