Sounds like a personal problem. You very well know that our two schools are in an arms race. The Cold War would never have been the Cold War had the Soviet Union dragged their feet on Nuclear Weapons Development, and allowed the United States to completely control everything.

Yes, y'all are playing catch up. It was amazing to see all the facility improvements after Louisiana released its Master Plan. We waited until the Sun Belt core became CUSA to do something.

The thing is, many Cajun fans respect 1 program in the Sun Belt, stAte. We are indifferent towards a few and despise some as well. But stAte fans despise the Cajuns. We are in two completely different situations athletically. stAte has 1 FBS school to compete against instate. Louisiana has 4, so far the Cajuns perception is everything.

We despise your football team...not the school itself.

Its a rivalry. We're not going to like each other, but our schoolls get along more than any other SBC schools at the administration level, and thats very important in a realignment crazed world

You guys can join us in establishing the new world order if you want...

Being the bell cow of the conference, I expect everyone to hate us.

Not true...Texas State fawns over you. I expect their AD to propose Marriage at any point.

Hopefully the latest defeat to a 4 win team accelerates the end of the Bob Marlin era.

I still have hope and confidence that Graves will be a good coach at South. We have a young coach and a young team that loses a lot of games close, but also wins some games that we really shouldn't be winning.

I say he has two more years, rather he is good or not.

Is the LaFayette region heavily dependent on shale oil? Given this area is one of the higher costs to produce, the shale boom is coming to a screeching halt. I would think this is a major concern for the master plan.

The budget thing is a big deal for our AD. He had vowed to get us to $20 million in five years. Doing it two years ahead of schedule is major feather in his cap.
