Jeromie Hill lit up Marshall for 36 last game. We played UTEP tight for a half. Our depth is quite there so the guys tend to get gassed in the 2nd half.

ixnay ethay inxjay!

UTSA is athletic. Our leading scorer is still recovering from ankle sprains. We may have a let down after the big game Thursday. Lot can go wrong in this game.

Come on ToT don't put the wammy on us. We have played two road games in CUSA play so far. It took OT to beat FAU and a 7 point win at FIU. UTSA is as good or better than both of those teams.
I expect another game that comes down to whoever makes their shots at the end. This is how I expect life on the road in CUSA the rest of the way out. I don't see too many double digit wins if any.

Well this game is in Diddle, so like I said, we win by 10 or more.

I hope your correct, but UTSA played a nice game the other night and I expect the same effort today from them today

RE: WKU vs UTSA thread
You guys should win this game pretty easily unless you have a bad shooting day. Runners look good at times throughout the game but they go on runs of turning the ball over multiple times within a short period. We have a ball hog K. Lewis who might score a lot but throws up bad shots all game long, shoots about 30%. Runners only chance at winning is if they shoot lights out and do not turn the ball over. I hope I am wrong but that's what I have seen this year.

If Ootsa can play the whole game instead of just the first half like they did against UTEP you might upset the Toppers. That first half was a very good game for you. The second half not so good. You do have talent.

True, we've played better at home but did have a meltdown against a very average Belmont Bruins squad.

That game was ages ago. Team is playing WAY better these days.

Game went about like I expected. We controlled the game for the biggest part. Never really got to pull away, but there was no doubt we were playing our game.

Nice W, now on to Tech.

RE: WKU vs UTSA thread
I thought UTSA was actually a pretty good team. Somewhat surprised they have 9 losses. Their starting 5 are all capable players. I was impressed by Hill & Lewis of course, especially Lewis, he could get off a decent shot just about anytime he wanted. It was a tough win, the Toppers had to shoot well or they would've lost.

We started out losing to some small programs.

They also have dipped into the JUCO ranks quite a bit which too some time to gel.

Very good offensive team that needs a go to defense...

I think if your coach had started out the season playing mostly zone UTSA would be in the top 5 of CUSA. With Hill, Lewis and Bowie as 3 scoring threats on offense you have what you need. UTSA's problem is the coach doesn't know defense

RE: WKU vs UTSA thread
We've needed a new coach for awhile imo. Along with better facilities of course. This would probably help recruiting if it ever happens one day..
