Two interesting matchups for sure. Hopefully we've sorted out our issues by then.

Interesting info
Ohio State would never schedule a game that they might lose. So they must feel good about beating Memphis. I hope Memphis kicks there butt.

We should be better with losing only one Sr. and some studs coming in, but the Pastner effect is the wild card.

Hopefully we have a repeat of last year for next season. Guards should have some experience under their belts. Also less blowout loses please.

Miko told me that Memphis basketball will continue to suffer until Fuente is poached and Memphis gets back to focusing on basketball.

Details to come...

Quote:I don't normally get insider info about AAC schools, but someone I know who is moderately reliable got some info from Memphis admins that they are getting too focused on FB, and the MBB program is suffering as a result. Rumor has it that as soon as Fuentes gets poached by another school (U Tenn maybe?) they will de-empathize FB so that they can put more resources back into BB.

As I get more info, I'll post more updates.

You're welcome.

I totally get this. I mean there's nothing like quitting that 6 figure income job to work full time as your child's little league coach making maybe 50 bucks a week. It's all about quality of life. 03-lmfao

Miko is full of you know what. Dude doesn't even know our coaches correct name... Changes will be made when the right people feel it's necessary. We'll be fine in the long term. It just sucks right now.

There's no less focus on basketball than there was 5 years ago. A competent head coach could take this year's memphis to a sweet 16

Then what is Pitt's excuse for being down in both sports?

They are spending their resources on Ultimate Frisbee. It is the sport of the future, you know.

Somebody at Pitt needs to spend a little money on message board fishing lessons for Miko.
